The Factory is a unique 12.000 square meters workspace for startups in the center of Berlin Mitte, at the heart of a growing ecosystem. Five buildings adjacent to the former Berlin wall accommodate technology enabled companies in various stages of development from newly founded teams to local heroes (e.g. SoundCloud) to international ventures such as Mozilla. More than just state of the art workspace and leisure amenities, the Factory provides a physical location for the European scene to network. Community-driven events, educational content and an acceleration program for entrepreneurs will gather startups, investors and enablers from all over the world. Initiated in late 2011 by several serial entrepreneurs and private investors, the Factory will officially open in 2013.
