Fiverr was born from the realization that the Internet Revolution has made working from 9-to-5, Monday-Friday no longer the only option. We created Fiverr to give people the platform and tools to easily make money from their talents and skills, whether they wanted to make a little extra income or give up their office jobs altogether.

The internet has connected the world together and transformed everyone’s lives in so many ways, and Fiverr came to life as part of that transformation, determined to give everyone the opportunity and means to earn an income doing not only what they love, but just as importantly to love what they do.

Fiverr initially started as an online marketplace for services offered for a fixed price of $5. In the beginning of 2012, we have evolved into a platform where services are offered for a basic price of $5, but can go up to over $250 per service, depending on the scope of the service.

In fact, the majority of the services offered on Fiverr sell for more than $5 and 15% of Fiverr sellers name Fiverr as their primary source of income."
